Dragonkind Website
Yes, it is official: published by Yarros Ink, Inc. at dragonkind.com as the Empyrean dragon experience. Yes, it is free. Yes, it asks for an email before it starts. Everything below is what can be verified from outside it, because nothing inside is documented.
What is Dragonkind?
Dragonkind is the official interactive dragon experience for the Empyrean series. It is a website rather than an app, it is free to open, and it lives at dragonkind.com. Yarros Ink, Inc. publishes it. It is the only official interactive experience for the series, and it is separate from the books, the audiobooks and the television adaptation.
It is also not this. This site is an independent game about the same rite; the rest of this page sets out exactly which parts of the official experience are publicly documented and which are not.

What is not established
How it works: Not yet established. There is no reachable public description of a Threshing sequence, of how a run begins, or of what appears after the email gate. The landing page names Conscription Day and the Rider's Quadrant. It does not describe the Threshing rite.
What happens after you burn: Not yet established. No public description of bond, rejection or burn outcomes exists for this experience. Do not assume the outcomes used by this site, or by any other game, describe the official one.
What the result is: Not yet established. Nothing public says what completing a run produces. That is a gap in the public record, not a puzzle to solve from screenshots. The experience itself is one email address away.
Repeat runs and timing: Not yet established. The exact launch date is also unestablished. The only hard dating signal is the privacy policy revision of 27 September 2026. Whether Infantree designed the experience or only built it is not established either.
Dragonkind in the books
In the series, dragonkind is the collective word for dragons, and the Empyrean is their own governing body. The official experience takes its name from that word, which is why the two are easy to search together and easy to confuse.
The name is also common in fantasy generally. The Empyrean one is the site linked above, credited to Rebecca Yarros and operated by Yarros Ink, Inc.
Who created it
The story is credited to Rebecca Yarros. The website is credited to Infantree. The background art is credited to Andreas Rocha, and the dragon art to Arancia Studio. The operator named in the privacy policy is Yarros Ink, Inc.
That credit block is the whole of the public authorship record. It does not say which parts of the experience each contributor built, and it should not be stretched to mean more than it does.

Want to enter a Threshing right now without leaving this page?
This is our own game, not the official one. Four to eight minutes, no account.
What you are about to play
The run below is our own game. You create a cadet, walk into the valley, make a series of choices, and get an outcome decided by a seeded algorithm written here. It shares a subject with the official experience and nothing else: no code, no text, no artwork, no results and no routes.
If you want the official experience, use the link above. If you want a Threshing in the next five minutes, the entry is directly above this paragraph.
